Individual Clients Babysitting- Terms and Conditions

  1. Paramana is a childcare provider, located in Pirrou Dima 26,Litochoro, Pieria, 60200. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, persons registered with Paramana and offered childcare bookings through Paramana are referred to as Babysitters and persons who book Paramana Childcare are referred to as Clients.
  2. Nothing in these Conditions shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or an employment relationship between the Client and Paramana or the Client’s chosen hotel, nor will anything be deemed to constitute one party the agent of the other for any purpose.
  3. By making a babysitter request that is then fulfilled it is implied that you accept these Private Babysitting Terms and Conditions.
  4. The client's private telephone is not to be used except under emergency situations.
  5. The babysitter is to take along with them at the babysitting the Babysitter Schedule Form, that the Client has already filled and sent by email to Paramana before each babysitting booking. This form contains all important details about the parents contact info, arrival and departure time of the babysitter and children’s program and should be signed by the parents at the departure of the babysitter.
  6. All bookings (hotel babysitting, wedding and events) must be made directly between the Client and Paramana. No bookings are to be made directly with the babysitter. Should this obligation be ignored, the babysitter is obliged to inform Paramana and the relevant fees will be charged to the Client, otherwise Paramana will refuse to proceed with any legalisation of the service or payment of the Babysitter.
  7. Paramana requires the Client to provide accurate details of their address, contact details and full name. Paramana requires the Client to inform the babysitter of any medical conditions, allergies, sickness or disability associated with the children.
  8. The Client agrees to pay the whole cost of booked services in advance (at least 48 hours before). Only in the case that the babysitting services exceed the duration agreed will the Client pay the remained amount directly to the babysitter. The invoice will be sent to the Client by email from Paramana up to 2 days after the babysitting services took place.
  9. The Client is responsible for paying the babysitter travel expenses to and from their residence, admission or entrée costs for activities, food and drink( if the babysitting exceeds 6 hours in duration).
  10. If the Client ends the booking early, no refund will be made by Paramana for the remaining time.
  11. If the booking runs longer than the original hours booked, the Client agrees to pay the babysitter overtime, rounding up to the nearest 30mins.
  12. Booking fees are payable in Euro.
  13. Failure to settle the booking fee in a timely manner could result in the Babysitter being allocated on another job.
  14. In the event of a Client passing the details of a Babysitter to third parties, the Client will be responsible for any relevant Fees and associated loss of Paramana earnings.
  15. If a Babysitter Booking is cancelled up to 72hrs of start, a 25% of the fee will be refunded.
  16. If a Babysitter Booking is cancelled up to 48hrs of start, a 50% of the fee will be refunded.
  17. If a Babysitter Booking is cancelled within 24hrs of start, the booking fee is non-refundable
  18. A minimum of 3hrs of babysitting services is to be charged to the Client
  19. If a wedding or event package is cancelled within 7 days of start date, a 50% charge of booking fee will be payable
  20. A full refund will apply if the booked Babysitter cancels or no-shows to the booking and a second Babysitter cannot be found as a replacement
  21. The client will be charged in accordance to hourly rate / booking fee set by Paramana
  22. There are additional fees when booking a Babysitter at a last minute notice (less than 24 hours).
  23. Paramana Babysitters work on a ratio of:
    • Children under the age of 1 : 1 babysitter / 1 child ratio
    • Children under the age of 4 -1 babysitter / 2 child ratio
    • Children over the age of 4 - 1 babysitter / 3 child ratio
  24. Paramana Childcare endeavours to validate the background of our Babysitters. We cannot guarantee that all the information is correct. Paramana conducts thorough checks, conducts interviews, and ensures the babysitters hold or in the process of obtaining current first aid.
  25. Although Paramana has high expectations of our Babysitters and we aim to provide you with exceptional services there is still no complete guarantee of reliability, honesty and character of the Babysitter provided by us.

  27. The client agrees to forever indemnify, release and hold harmless Paramana, employees and officers for any and all claims relating to services provided by babysitters.
  28. The client understands that a babysitter may not take children off the hotel premises, take them to swim in the sea or pool, bathe them or give medication.
  29. In the case of a nursing baby, the client will provide the designated babysitter with enough milk/formula and with a written feeding schedule.
  30. The client agrees that a safe and nurturing environment will always be given by the babysitter to their children and activities will be offered with optimum safety in mind. Clients further agree to release and hold harmless Paramana from all claims and liabilities of any type whatsoever of injury, sickness or death to their child, which may result from their taking on the service of a babysitter from Paramana.
  31. In the event the minor(s) damages the furniture, equipment or property of the hotel or resort, the client assumes financial responsibility for damages.
  32. There is a 13% VAT charge on all babysitting services’ receipts according to the Greek law. All receipts are sent by email, with the personal info you have submitted to us.
